MODL Water System Review

Let me just start out by saying that the MODL water bottle isn't a water bottle, it's a complete water system. The MODL water bottle series presents a versatile and innovative solution for adventure seekers who demand functionality, durability, and adaptability in their hydration systems. The MODL Bottle itself serves as the foundation of this exceptional system, offering a collapsible and durable silicone body that withstands rugged use without denting or scratching. With a generous capacity of 36oz (1.1L), it provides ample hydration for your outdoor escapades.

What sets MODL apart is its modular design, which allows you to expand the bottle’s functionality with various MODs.

The Flow MOD, for instance, enables you to drink from the bottle like a hydration pack, providing the convenience of hands-free drinking without the hassle of difficult-to-clean bladders. The MagClip accessory takes it a step further, ensuring the Flow MOD is always within easy reach, whether you attach it to your bike handlebars, backpack strap, or car handle.

For adventurers who require access to clean drinking water, the Pure MOD offers a solution. This filtration system effectively removes 99.9% of protozoa and bacteria. Filtering up to 790gallons of water! Its lightweight design and compatibility with other MODs like the Go MOD and Flow MOD make it an essential companion for any outdoor excursion.

To maintain hygiene and cleanliness on your adventures, the Rinse MOD comes to the rescue. With a simple squeeze, you can dispense water for rinsing off yourself, your gear, or even your four-legged companion, ensuring no water goes to waste. The included LifeLoop accessory adds convenience and portability to the Rinse MOD.

The MODL system’s true strength lies in its adaptability and the creativity of its community. Users have discovered endless applications for their MODL, transforming it into a lantern, a sleeping bag heater, or even a pillow. The possibilities are limited only by our imagination and I don't k ow about you but I love getting behind a product that has such an amazing community. There's got to be a reason for that right?

In terms of sustainability, MODL as a company embraces a carbon-neutral supply chain, promoting eco-conscious practices. The materials used, including ABS, silicone, and polypropylene, are chosen with durability and safety in mind. The water bottle is BPA-free, ensuring the water you drink remains uncontaminated.

I would also be remiss if I did a review on the MODL system without mentioning the infinity strap. The infinity tool is an integrated part of the water bottle, a way to attach the bottle to just about anything. The MODL community being what they are quickly realized that this little strap was far more versatile then just a water bottle holder and the infinity tool took on a whole life of its own.

You can think of the infinity tool as kind of a mix between a zip tie and a bungee cord and did I mention that is also modular just like the hydration system? So you can link infinity tools together as well as add different ends and attachments such as hooks or studs to make the infinity tool exactly what you need! The best part about it is that it's the perfect size to be worn as a bracelet so you'll always have at least one on you when you need it... who else has used theirs as a chip clip?

Over all the MODL water bottle series, with its flexible and durable design, offers an incredible drinking experience for anyone. The ability to expand its functionality with MODs such as the Flow MOD, Pure MOD, and Rinse MOD elevates its versatility to new heights. Whether you’re embarking on a hike, bike ride, or camping trip, MODL equips you with a reliable and customizable hydration system, allowing you to push boundaries and embrace new adventures.

I know this sounds a bit like a sales post because I didn't have a single bad thing to say about MODL but that's just because I am really impressed with them as a company, a product and a community!

Make sure you check out their newest kickstarter campaign and consider backing their next project!
